RER MedApps may collect and process health-related data depending on the app features you use. This data is considered sensitive personal information and is handled with the highest level of confidentiality. Our protocols for this data include:

  • Data Minimization Principle: We follow a strict data minimization approach, collecting only the specific information necessary for the application’s functionality.

  • Secure Storage: All health-related data is stored exclusively on our secure, protected servers. It is never stored in unencrypted or accessible formats on public-facing directories.

  • Encryption Standards: We ensure that all health information is encrypted at two critical stages: in transit(using SSL/TLS as it moves from your device to our servers) and at rest (using AES-256 encryption while stored on our servers).

  • Zero Sharing for Advertising: We maintain a strict “Privacy Wall” between your health data and our advertising partners. Under no circumstances is your health data, symptoms, medications, or metrics shared with, sold to, or accessible by advertisers. Your sensitive health information is never used to inform, profile, or target the advertisements you see.

  • Purpose-Driven Retention and Deletion: We only retain your health data for as long as it is necessary to provide the services requested. We delete this information once its specific purpose has been fulfilled or immediately upon your decision to delete your account.
